Responsibilities:
- Strategize plans to align business operations with the company's mission and goals
- Lead the Project Team (including the Suppliers) in discussions with customers, and negotiation for any demand of changes such as cost, design, schedule of the products
- Close communication with customers to identify issues, and lead discussions within the Project Team to discuss countermeasures with the Suppliers.
- Involve in designing and prototyping, pre-product development by attending, leading, and facilitating the product development meetings
- Identify and prioritize product and service improvement opportunities, and create plans for implementation
- Develop complex forecasting models, budgets, resource allocation, and plans for projects
- Utilize comprehensive knowledge of company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business
- Responsible for sales of automotive parts with high customer service standards, and ensure customers have all the needed information about parts
- Support identification of the right parts, prepare quotation and parts information to service advisor if required.
- Ensure technicians are adequately and timely supplied with requested parts/materials.
- Order parts according to the parts sales volume/model mix targets and target agreement
- Accurately record and process damaged parts/parts returns
- Perform continuous improvement for the duties described above
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties be assigned by management or Japan HQ
Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree holder from reputable local or international universities in relevant field of study
- At least 6 years of relevant working experience in automotive trading industry
- Experience in multi-cultural organization and ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Strong in logical thinking, result oriented and focused on details, and be able to handle multiple projects, prioritize and arrange tasks, and schedules to delivery outcomes on time.
- Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation, effective communication, open minded and positive attitude to coordinate among external partners and internal group companies
- Knowledge in Quality Assurance/Control is required
- Fluent English to communicate with local employees, customers, and management
- Proficiency in the Japanese language to communicate and manage relevant stakeholders effectively with Japan HQ
- Prior work experience in a Japanese firm or working with Japanese OEM and Tier1 supplier would be advantageous
- Strong knowledge of connected device, technical trends and industry updates
- Willing to travel in overseas frequently and accept short lead time preparation upon customers’ request
