Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments of patients.
- Provide Pre-employment checkups and other statutory examinations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and common medical conditions.
- Prescribe appropriate medications, treatments, and therapies based on the diagnosis.
- Provide preventive care, including vaccinations, health screenings/reviews, and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
- Set up required return visits for patients for follow-ups to ensure patients' chronic conditions are being well taken care of.
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and self-care techniques.
- Stay informed about the latest medical research, advancements, and best practices through continuous education and professional development.
- Adhere to medical ethics, standards of practice, and legal requirements.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Full Registration with the Singapore Medical Council.
