Location: Gul Circle
Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon – Fri, 9am to 6pm and Sat, 9am to 1pm)
Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize mechanical systems for the BCSS, including battery handling, charging, and swapping equipment.
- Develop engineering drawings and specifications for mechanical components.
- Specify, select, and procure mechanical components and machinery required for battery handling, charging, and swapping.
- Implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Ensure mechanical designs and modifications adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental compliance.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols for personnel and equipment.
- Conduct quality control inspections and testing of mechanical systems and equipment to maintain high operational standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues and faults.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and project managers to plan, design, and execute mechanical aspects of BCSS projects.
- Provide mechanical engineering expertise in project planning and execution.
- Able to handle electrical faults and hydraulic faults and repair of rotary drilling rigs.
Requirements:
- Min. Degree in Engineering field, preferably mechanical engineering.
- Min. 1-2 years’ experience on maintenance works.
- Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software for mechanical design.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
- Understand the working principle of the rotary drilling rig.
