Job Responsibilities:
- Perform tool design for Bike Product and Fishing Reel.
- Follow up on outcome of the designed parts and execute the necessary modification to meet customer needs
- Liaise with internal customers to fully understand moulded part design requirements, and integrate these requirements into tool design
- Leverage modelling and simulation studies, run by other experts, to improve and optimize tool designs for productivity and longevity
- Liaise with CAM Engineers and process in-charge on job requirements
- Deliver complete fabrication ready 3D tooling designs
- Carry out quality checks and troubleshoot when necessary
- Coordinate efforts with various department including purchasing, assembly, and quality control to move jobs through production workflow in a timely manner
- Any ad hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Nitec in Precision Engineering or relevant certification
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in mould design
- Necessary to have experience in a die mould environment
- Knowledge of solidworks or mold flow will be advantageous
- Must have hands-on experience in design software such as NX
- Good knowledge of mould-making with production experience
- Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work overtime when required
