What you’ll be involved in:
The Junior Trader will work closely with Automated Market Making (AMM) team. You will work with experienced senior traders and risk managers to research ways to improve this already profitable strategy, to deliver sustainable short and long-term growth.
What we need from you:
The Junior Trader will report to the Senior Trader on Desk and will have or demonstrate the ability to acquire over time with experience the following:
· Ability to support / take instruction from the Senior Trader &/ or Trader on desk.
· A high level of technical proficiency, general market knowledge and the ability to transfer skills and knowledge with the help from more senior traders.
· Initiative and ability to create trading opportunities by looking to the future and exploiting ideas.
· Adapts quickly to changes and peaks in workloads. Demonstrates ability to work under pressure.
· Good level of competence in using trading systems.
· Basic risk judgement. Works alongside seniors on desk to manage risk within parameters set by management/risk. Accepts advice and guidance from Senior Trader on desk / Trader on desk / Risk and responds to their requests immediately. Observes regulatory and exchange rules and regulations including Company policy and protocol.
· Continuously builds and develops strong working relationships with colleagues and external parties.
· Responds positively to guidance from more senior traders. Accepts constructive criticism from others.
