Job Description:
The Sales Application Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise and product knowledge to clients. This individual will be responsible for understanding customer needs, conducting product demonstrations, and ensuring that the company medical devices meet the specific requirements of healthcare professionals.
This position involves promoting and selling the Company’s products to hospitals and clinics, with a preference for candidates with a background in marketing medical equipment. Core responsibilities include establishing and nurturing customer relationships, expanding the customer base, and strengthening connections with Key Opinion Leaders. A solid understanding of hospital and procurement workflows is essential. The role also requires organizing and overseeing seminars and exhibitions, achieving sales targets, and conducting product presentations and training programs. Quarterly reporting includes assessing market intelligence, analyzing competition, and adapting strategies to meet evolving customer needs. Other critical duties involve managing the life cycle of various products, implementing brand management activities, and collaborating on new launch plans. The candidate will also be responsible for controlling project costs within assigned accounts.

- Responsible for managing new and existing product sales portfolio from new product launches, product improvements, line extensions, or limited time offers from concept to successful launch within agreed time frames.
- Sales target planning covers aspects such as Technical & Financial feasibility, commercial plans support, and operational stability.

- Sets workload and performance expectations, provides KPI evaluations, identifies, and bridges developmental needs for new sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- To work with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals.
- To communicate with customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Company’s products and stay updated on industry trends.
- Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and applications to potential clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and assist in the development of customized solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities of the company medical devices.
- Provide training to clients on the proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the products.
- Offer post-sales technical support to address customer inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about competitor products and industry developments.
- To Collect competitive data and remain current on industry, customer, and competitive trend.
- Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer interactions and market insights.
- To Identify the needs of new prospects and develop appropriate responses.
- To Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become available.
- To work with the sales team by receiving coaching, training or mentoring; transfer knowledge to peer Sales Representatives and to Sales Associates when needed.
- To Maintain training in product features/benefits, and other critical business applications.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and workshops to enhance visibility and network with key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- A minimum diploma, preferably in Nursing, Business, Biomedical Science, or Science.
- Prior work experience of at least 2 years in the healthcare industry, particularly with medical equipment, is preferred, individuals without such experience but possessing the specified qualifications and a strong interest in pursuing a sales career in the healthcare sector will also be considered.
