Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to fill the role of Bar Supervisor. As a Bar Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bar, maintaining high standards of service, and fostering a positive team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the seamless operation of all bar activities.
- Oversee the completion of weekly/daily checklists by bar staff, ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures.
- Ensure that the bar team strictly adheres to systems and procedures outlined in the standards of procedures manual.
- Manage stock rotation and storage practices, maintaining inventory levels and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Prepare all bars for setup in advance of each shift, in accordance with relevant standards of procedure.
- Monitor staff punctuality and uniform adherence based on the weekly rota.
- Develop, train, and coach bar staff to meet the standards following the guidelines outlined in the standards of procedures manual.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of full-time experience
- Proficiency in working with standard operating procedures, with the ability to update them as necessary.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and effectively supervise others.
- Proven experience in managing high volume and fast-paced working environments.
- Flexibility, adaptability to last-minute changes, and a strong customer-focused approach.
- Willingness to work shifts and demonstrate flexibility in scheduling.
