Job Descriptions:
- Collaborate with the business department to draft, negotiate, and review upstream lithium resource package sales contracts and terms.
- Collaborate with the import and export department to handle the negotiation, drafting, and review of long-term agreements and one-time purchase and sales agreements for downstream lithium products.
- Provide legal support for changes and modifications to long-term agreements upstream and downstream based on business needs.
- Review contract orders under long-term agreements submitted by the import and export department, provide legal opinions on additional terms or modifications in the orders, and promptly complete OA approval.
- Handle and resolve disputes related to lithium resource package sales in the upstream process, including disputes over resource grades and port demurrage fees.
- Follow up and address disputes in the downstream lithium product sales process, such as product quality, overdue payments, and logistic cost disputes.
- Compile standard terms for upstream and downstream sales and sales agreements and create standard templates.
- Compile information on the laws applicable to signed agreements with both upstream and downstream customers across various countries.
- Participate in and understand the deployment and arrangements of business and production departments, providing a forward-looking perspective for cross-border import and export legal work.
- Handle administrative tasks related to import and export sales, including but not limited to recording meeting minutes, supervising lawyer work, and auditing expenses.
- Perform other legal tasks assigned by management.
Job Requirement :
- Possesses a minimum Bachelor's degree in Law is required.
- Familiarity with and proficiency in reviewing purchase and sales agreements and legal documents in both Chinese and English.
- Understanding and familiarity with legal regulations and industry practices related to cross-border trade, maritime shipping, and warehousing.
- Basic awareness and understanding of cross-border investment, company compliance, and governance structures.
- Strong ability in risk identification, negotiation, communication, and coordination, with good stress tolerance.
- Possesses at least 2-3 years of legal expertise in cross-border trade, investment, and compliance.
- Capable of risk identification and dispute resolution.
