Specific Role Responsibilities:
Support GSE engineering activities in IATA III
· Perform tooling and test equipment validation for GSE in Japan, South Korea, Malaysia and Singapore
· Perform facility assessment for GSE engineering during the proposal and during capability activation in the region
· Write SOW for test equipment needs for all Collins MROs in the region
· To provide requirements interpretation in CMM/CMP
· To assist AOG event and help to expedite resolving AOG related issue
· Provide new LRU CMM training to Collins repair station
· Initiate more repair capability into the region such as NEO ATS (Malay), new GTFA LRU (SNG), KF-21 ACM (S Korea)
· Provide correlation training for MRO engineering, self-issue certification
· To help the MROs documenting best practice
· To drive improvement in calibration activity that meet or exceed FAA/EASA requirements
· Be able to travel to assist both internal and external customer in less than 24 hour and able to assess the situation more effectively.
· Provide better Action Item with improve commit date to the customer.
Support GSE related projects
· Customer response center case closure
· Special project in support of field service-related issues
· Entry into service
· Document control in terms of maintaining ISO certification
Requirements
· Degree in Electrical Engineering.
· Possess test engineering skills.
· 10 years’ relevant engineering experience in the Aviation industry would be preferred
· Flexible and ability to adapt to multi-cultural and quick changing environment.
· Ability to work independently and across multiple time zones.
· Strong interpersonal skill.
· Able to multi-task with a “can-do” attitude.
· Good oral and written communication skills.
· Good proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
