RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business Partnering with Commodity and BU Finance teams; supporting these teams with data, analysis, metrics and process creation/improvements
- Measure and track monthly Cost Savings vs target; and work closely with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to bridge such gaps
- Prepare monthly actuals and forecast on Direct and Indirect Spend; and variance analysis to actual
- Support month end activities such as Purchase Price Variance
- Support Cost Centre Controlling; including template roll-overs; forecasting and budgeting process
- Support and drive ad-hoc projects; including analysing supplier pricing variances; geographical spend profile and indirect expenses such as IT etc. to identify opportunities for cost savings
- Support in the implementation of new business improvement activities; including low cost sourcing, dual cost sourcing and landed cost analyses to drive cost reductions
- Ability to handle large data sets (>35,000 parts) and assist in reporting improvements by leveraging on IT systems
EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge in Spend and Cost Savings management reporting; understanding of procurement and supply chain operations preferred
- Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices of cost accounting
- Familiar with financial forecasting and budgeting
- Previous experience with fully integrated SAP, ERP systems
- Advanced user on data visualization tools such as Power BI, Excel and Powerpoint
- Ability to interact and influence other functional teams across the organisation
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Experience working in a MNC
EDUCATION
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor, manufacturing OR similar high technology manufacturing environment.
- CPA Certification
