Position: Design Manager - Storage Rack and Renovation Design
Location: Singapore
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers and design teams to create detailed and accurate 2D and 3D drawings for storage rack systems and renovation projects.
- Utilize AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other relevant software to produce precise technical drawings and schematics.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards in all design work.
- Work closely with the engineering team to refine and improve design concepts for storage solutions and renovation plans.
- Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to integrate storage systems seamlessly into various environments.
- Provide timely and effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders to address design-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Design Manager, with a focus on storage rack design and renovation projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar drafting software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and comprehensive drawings.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to design challenges.
- Time management skills to meet project deadlines effectively.
