The Assistant Director, Fundraising is responsible for leading and directing the fundraising strategies, campaigns and capital development initiatives. He/she will contribute to bringing a philanthropic spirit to the local community, focusing particularly on the public with the aim of developing a stronger commitment towards charity.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the team towards THKMC and department success within all regulatory requirements and internal governance policies.
- Lead and develop creative and innovative fundraising strategies which shall be continually reviewed and adapted whenever necessary, to secure funding to support the organization’s goals and service strategy.
- Cultivate and secure corporate partnerships, sponsorships and approach trusts, government agencies and other bodies that could potentially make grants to the organization.
- Lead and ensure that fundraising goals are achieved and tracked as well as meeting donors’ expectations.
- Strategize and improve the digital marketing efforts and social media presence.
- Assess fundraising strategies effectiveness and modify accordingly to align with the organization’s goals.
- Lead and ensure compliance to best practice in Direct Marketing, Data Protection and the Guiding Principles for Fundraising.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business/Marketing/Media/Social Services
- At least 12 years’ of relevant working experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
- Ability to adapt, evolve and collaborate with others across different environments.
- Meticulous, strong organizational and interpersonal skills with ability to function in a multi-cultural environment.
- Desire to excel and thrive in a dynamic social service setting.
- Possess service-oriented attitude and strong in stakeholder management.
- Proficient in MS Office skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Good knowledge and understanding of social media marketing and other digital marketing tactics.
- Excellent communication and written skills.
