Note: This role is for a 1-year contract position.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Sales Submission and Data Management
- Checking of submission documents based on regulatory and internal guidelines to assess the status of submission & perform the necessary follow-up
- Packing submission for dispatch and packing internal documents
- Perform timely data entry on sales submissions and maintenance of client and policy data
- Checking of data entry to ensure accuracy
- Meeting of KPIs – accuracy, quality output and service levels
- Manage enquiries through common mailbox, internal and external stakeholders promptly
2. AML Screening
- Collate Due Diligence information and disposition the name screening alerts with rationale to support accordingly to the AML guidelines and policies.
- Document the disposition clearly and timely with supporting evidence using a risk-based approach.
- Perform the name screening duties and escalate true screening matches to AML function for further review.
- Reach out to respective business units to obtain additional identifiers / clarifications and support documents to conclude screening alerts.
3. General Administration
- Arrange for retention at the offsite storage and maintain proper records of the endorsed batch list and courier services consignment notes
- Inventory management of forms, brochures, and documents
- Send broadcast/announcement to all relevant stakeholders
4. Systems & Others
- Work on enhancement for inhouse system and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for changes implemented and issue logs raised
- Update Operation Manual on a timely basis
- Review and streamline workflows where applicable
- Work closely with cross-functional teams for processing functions with interdependencies
- Identify interdependencies when analyzing issues and proactive to propose resolution
- Assist the HOD/Team Lead and perform adhoc tasks and projects as and when assigned
Requirement
- Minimum diploma holders
- Candidates with at least 2 years of experience in banking/financial industry preferred but fresh graduates are welcome
- Having compliance qualifications like ACAMS and ICT certifications is added bonus although not mandatory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Words, Excel, and Powerpoint)
