The Commercial & Marketing Executive is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all online stores. This includes managing inventory, overseeing customer service, monitoring sales and profits, and collaborating with marketing and web development teams to optimize the website and improve the user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the online store, ensuring that all orders are processed and shipped in a timely manner
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring that products are stocked and available for purchase
- Monitor sales and profits, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with marketing and web development teams to optimize the website and improve the user experience
- Manage customer service operations, ensuring that customer inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively
- Analyze data and metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
- Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and services
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices and incorporate them into the online store’s operations
- Manage a team of employees including hiring, training and performance management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in online retail operations or a related field
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, inventory management systems, and analytics tools
- Familiarity with web development, digital marketing, and social media platforms
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
