Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Wash the raw materials thoroughly before cutting, use the correct food preparation tools according to manufacturers’ instructions
- Prepare fruits, hot &; cold beverage, vegetables and garnishes for each meal
- Carry out raw material check before cutting.
- Discard all spoilt raw materials.
- Portion food products before cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications
- Carry out raw material check before cooking
- Able to cook dishes based on approved recipes when instructed (g. rice, deep fried food, vegetables, vegetarian, etc.)
- Able to re-heat food based on stated temperature and time duration
- Conduct quality check for every batch
- Record core temperature of thecooked food according to SOP
- Conduct food tasting before dishing out the cooked food
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experiences
- Possess Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Processes adequate knife skill
- Experience working in central / commercial kitchen setting
- Must be able to carry out and display various cooking techniques
- Be able to work shift
- Strong team work
