Purpose of the Role:
To oversee the administrative function of Transaction Banking of Asia in providing prompt assistance and advice to Transaction Banking of Asia staff with good customer service, including but not limited to internal and/or administrative matters
To oversee the internal and external marketing communications function of Transaction Banking of Asia in promoting MUFG’s transaction banking business in Asia
Primary Responsibilities
Strategic
To lead a team in supporting the regional transaction banking unit in administration which includes:
- Leading, planning, executing (including emceeing) events
- Updating and maintaining SOP to ensure adherence to policy
- Leading project teams to plan, strategise and execute regional business seminars
- To be responsible for marketing and communications for the regional transaction banking unit which includes:
- Working with stakeholders to produce compelling internal and external content such as newsletters, social media posts, mailers, announcements etc.
- Curating internal website to promote communications and business activity
- Executing sponsorship campaigns to improve MUFG branding
- Supporting external award campaigns
- Championing the MUFG brand within the transaction banking unit, including review of external documents and conducting of newcomer training
- Providing secretarial and business management support to Management team
- Procuring and managing inventory of office assets and supplies
Other/ Control
- To undertake any other assignment or projects as directed by Management or HOD
Job Requirements
- Degree in finance or business-related discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ business experience in the financial services industry
- Minimum 5 experience’ in a broad spectrum of office support
- Minimum 5 experience’ in marketing and communications
- Experience in planning and control
- Experience in team management
- Able to work both independently as well as with a team
- Able to take charge of ad-hoc projects as assigned by management
- Able to simultaneously manage multiple projects with different deadlines
- Motivated individual with strong problem-solving attitude and is comfortable dealing with ambiguity
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Multi-tasker
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Skill in design software and experience in website maintenance
