The College of Engineering at NTU Singapore is looking for a Senior Assistant Manager who will play a key role in leading and managing the Outreach and Admissions functions of the College. Stationed in the Dean’s Office of CoE, you will develop, plan and lead the implementation of outreach and admissions strategies and activities to achieve the College’s outreach and student recruitment objectives and targets.
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Manage and administer the full spectrum of admissions and scholarship processes to meet admissions and scholarship objective and targets. Scope of work includes (but not limited to) the following: coordinating interviews and liaising with various stakeholders for the processing and monitoring of applications, admissions and scholarships outcomes.
- Generate and analyse data for development of effective outreach and admissions strategies.
- Handle admissions, scholarships, financial aid and programme related enquiries from prospective students.
- Plan, manage and execute university, college and school level outreach events and activities.
- Interface between College and Engineering Schools to harmonise the outreach strategies, implementation plans and efforts, and support Engineering Schools in their outreach and student related activities.
- Participate in outreach events and activities locally and overseas.
- Guide, mentor and supervise team members in their work.
- Manage and support ad-hoc projects and tasks as necessary or as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Recognised university degree in any discipline. Degree in Business/ Marketing / Mass Communications is preferred.
- At least 5 years of work experience, preferably in Outreach or Student Recruitment in the higher education industry.
- Resourceful team player with good interpersonal and people management skills.
- Highly motivated and meticulous individual with strong analytic and problem-solving skills and keen eye for details.
- Excellent organisational, time management and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks in an efficient, effective, and timely manner.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Good project and event management skills.
- IT savvy and proficient in MS office applications.
