Summary
Assisting the traders in managing trades both from procurement and sales aspect. The position is based out of ARPL’s Singapore office but can be deputed in other offices with mutual consent.
Job scope
· Send out enquiries, offers and deal recaps under the supervision of the business heads.
· Follow up on vessel, LC, payments etc.
· Handle the contract performance for both purchase and sales.
· Manage customer delivery – vessel routing, BL switching, splits, quality management etc.
· Provide administrative and operational assistance to the business heads as and when required.
· Run KYC checks on new suppliers and customers.
· Liaise with various internal functions to ensure smooth operational performance.
· Assist with the development and implementation of trading strategies.
· Prepare presentations and reports on sales and procurement activities.
· Ensure compliance with internal trading and risk management policies.
· Maintain confidentiality of sensitive trade information.
Requirement for the job
The candidate must have a relevant university degree in business, finance, or related fields.
Other requirements
A. Candidate must be proficient in spoken, reading and written business English.
B. Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced environment across various time zones.
C. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
D. Excellent attention to detail.
E. At least two verifiable references (at least one from the existing job will be preferred).
F. Singapore citizens and PRs preferred.
