Responsibilities:
- Prepare initial contract drafts for Shipbrokers’ review.
- Distribute contracts upon approval.
- Upload contracts, amendments, and counters to the internal system.
- Maintain and update master templates as needed.
- Review and respond to contracts received from counterparties.
- Keep the contract Excel worksheet and tender Excel worksheet current.
- Prepare tender offers when required.
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Demurrage departments on contract-related issues.
- Evaluate and analyze counterparties’ general terms and conditions.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies or Shipping.
- Preferably have 1-2 years of relevant work experience; fresh graduates from maritime disciplines may be considered.
- Proficient in MS Applications, especially MS Excel.
- Familiarity with Power-BI is advantageous.
- Understanding of the Sales and Purchase (S&P) markets.
- Knowledge of the shipping industry is a positive.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and open to embracing new challenges.
