Client Accountant

Premier Fiduciary Pte. Ltd.

We are seeking a Certified Accountant and the successful candidate will take charge of all aspects of financial accounting, statutory reporting, tax reporting and administrative matters for a portfolio of clients as well as handle private trustees work.


Job Responsibilities

- In charge of billings, fee negotiations of each client engagement

- Prepare interim/full reports (including consolidation) in according with applicable accounting standards (IFRS/ Singapore Tax Regulations) for a dedicated clients portfolio

- Prepare management accounts for Singapore, Hong Kong and offshore jurisdictions (BVI, Seychelles, Belize, etc)

Prepare/Review Management Accounts, customized reporting packages, Statutory Accounts, GST returns, monthly payroll and other expense disbursements, as well as year-end remuneration returns

- Be first point of contact for clients and resolve all accounting matters independently

- Liaise with auditors, regulators, outsourced accounting firm for answering queries on behalf of clients.

- Review and revise client service fee on an annual basis.

- Ensure compliance to SOPs and regulatory updates.

- Undertake and oversee other ad-hoc projects or duties as may be required from time to time


Job Requirements

Minimum 5 years of relevant work experiences.

Fully qualified Accountant CPA / CA qualified; or Accountancy Degree from reputable university

Excellent client servicing skills and strong problem solving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Extensive and in-depth knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, CPF, GST and relevant tax rules, procedures and guidelines.

Strong and extensive experience in doing Consolidation using Excel and preparing year-end draft statutory financial statements with notes to the accounts.

Experienced in liaising with external outsourced accounting firms

Working knowledge of IFRS, Statement of Audit Standards and Professional Practices Framework of the IIA is an advantage.

Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel essential) and good knowledge of Word, Accounting and Payroll Software

Excellent organizational skills.
