Key responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the board game industry.
- Develop and nurture relationships with distributors, and partners to enhance our market presence.
- Conduct market research specific to the tabletop gaming community to identify trends, preferences, and potential areas for growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement effective business development and marketing strategies.
- Prepare and deliver engaging presentations to retailers and distributors.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and any business opportunities.
- Analyse and report on key performance indicators to measure the success of business development efforts.
- Support and facilitate in any workshops and events that the company might conduct and/or participate, including international ones.
- For Managerial role: Provide guidance to juniors, including interns, and assess their performance.
- Any other ad-hoc duties
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role. Candidates with more experience will be considered for the managerial role.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record in meeting or exceeding targets.
- Passion in playing board games and a willingness to explore the world of tabletop gaming.
- Some understanding of the Singapore and international board game market.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
