Job Descriptions:
- Audits the supervision of construction of MRT Stations in compliance with the requirements of the Building and Construction Authority and to the requirements of the Contracts.
- Ensures that records of all works including but not limited to tests, inspections, and minutes of site meetings are filed in the Project Information Management System.
- Resolves construction related issues raised by Client/Contractors.
- Provides inputs on contractual aspects of the station contracts.
- Monitors and reports on daily, weekly and monthly work progress and safety records.
- Conducts site audits on quality of works in accordance with approved drawings and contract specifications.
- Reviews all drawings, specifications and endorse on daily, weekly and monthly site reports submitted by Contractors.
- Promotes a near miss reporting culture and ensure lessons learnt from these near misses are shared across the program.
Qualifications:
- Be an engineer in the civil/structural discipline with qualification accredited JAC of IES/ACES as QSS
- Be accredited as Resident Engineer (RE) under IES/ACES Specialist Accreditation Programme
- At least 4 years of civil engineering experience of which 2 years in construction of MRT Station and entrances related projects
- Good knowledge of Civil and Structural Engineering Works
