As the bridge between Sea Group Finance and Regional Financial Planning & Analysis (Reg FP&A), we play a vital role in shaping and defining the financial landscape of our organisation. With a commitment to excellence, collaboration, and innovation, FPC is where your financial expertise can truly make a difference.

  • Collaborate in documenting, streamlining, and maintaining the Shopee's business logic for enhanced operational efficiency
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and reliability of historical performance numbers
  • Liaise with regional counterparts to facilitate monthly variance analysis between the management's perspective and the accounting view of business performance
  • Contribute to ad-hoc analyses as required, providing valuable insights into the business trends and opportunities
  • Actively participate in the implementation of new business initiatives, supporting seamless integration and successful outcomes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or any other relevant field
  • At least 2 years of working experience in audit or accounting-related roles
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent command of written English
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards
  • Self-starter and strong individual contributor
  • Efficient self-organisation skills to maintain a high level of multi-tasking
  • Have a strong ownership and be prepared to get involved in the details, as well as be compliance focused and data-driven
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment, with remote corporate finance policy guidance and direction
  • Knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards is a plus but is not required
