Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Manager to lead our dedicated team of 8-10 nurses providing homecare services. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, managing the nursing team, and maintaining compliance with clinical standards and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Coaching:
- Manage and coach a team of 8-10 nurses.
- Lead and support the development needs of the nursing team.
- Prioritize care in collaboration with patients and caregivers.
Nursing Manpower Management:
- Manage nursing manpower in the areas of recruitment and talent retention.
- Acclimate new nurses to the team as a preceptor.
- Conduct regular home visits with the nurses to establish best practices and maintain standards of care.
Performance Management:
- Ensure that the team reviews and adopts measures to achieve KPI targets.
- Ensure compliance with clinical pathways in management.
- Provide patient and caregiver education on symptom control and coping skills.
Resource Management:
- Manage and maintain an adequate stock of medical drugs and equipment.
- Oversee and prepare the annual budget in accordance with the organization's strategic plan.
Requirements:
- A state registered Nurse with at least 5 years of experience in leadership.
- Experience in Palliative Care Nursing is preferred.
- At least 8 years of nursing experience, preferably in an acute setting such as a restructured hospital.
- Good management and coaching skills.
- Clinical supervision skills.
- Conflict management skills.
- Ability to apply both rational and creative processes.
- Bilingual and the ability to communicate in the local dialect will be advantageous to communicate with dialect-speaking patients and families.
