Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager in trade

Job Summary:As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining successful relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth. You will lead a team of business development professionals and collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research:Conduct thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities.
    Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  2. Strategic Planning:Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals.
    Identify new markets, products, and services to expand the business.
  3. Client Relationship Management:Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
    Understand client needs and provide solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
  4. Team Leadership:Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals.
    Set performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
  5. Sales and Revenue Generation:Drive sales initiatives to meet and exceed revenue targets.
    Negotiate and close deals with clients and partners.
  6. Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
  7. Reporting and Analysis:Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends.
    Analyze data to make informed decisions and adjustments to strategies.

Qualifications:

  1. Education:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  2. Experience:Proven experience in business development, with a track record of successful sales and revenue growth.
    Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role.
  3. Skills:Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    Strong strategic planning and analytical abilities.
    Leadership and team management skills.
    Ability to work collaboratively and foster a positive work environment.
  4. Industry Knowledge:Familiarity with the industry and market trends relevant to the company.
