Duties and responsibilities
- Develop, implement, lead and execute audit in accordance with audit plan, SSAs and PCAOB Auditing Standards.
- Manage audit engagement from initial planning, analysis of controls and processes,
- preparation and review audit documentation and management letters and reports.
- Monitor audit engagement process, ensure on time schedule and staffing within budget
- Coach and mentor team members to build capabilities and improve technical competencies
- Conduct performance reviews and feedback for improvement
- Deliver high-quality assurance of audit files
- Develop business opportunities and maintain close relationship with clients
- Maintain high level of expertise and confidentiality in managing client portfolio
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related CAP, CPA, ACCA
- Minimum 5 years external audit and assurance with prior managerial experience
- Excellent leadership with interpersonal and communicative skills
- Familiar with MAS regulations and compliance for financial institutions
- Strong technical accounting skills with proficiency in SFRS and SSA or IFRS and US GAAP
- Experience in leading local & regional team members and handling international clients preferred
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in rapidly growing, fast-paced and result-based work environment
