Main Purpose of the Role
- Develop and deploy application focused business plans.
- Lead demand creation activities and provide technical support to customers in ASEAN region
- Drive design-in through application angle in customer battleplans, capture and feedback customer requirement to marketing team
Key Areas of Accountability
- Develop customers development plans in agreement with sales and marketing team.
- Deliver (and develop) application knowledge and provide support in design-in efforts toward design-win.
- Feedback customer insights and product/feature requirements to marketing.
- Drive customer visits for technical product presentations, demonstrations, demos, reference boards and application manuals.
- Provide technical product training for customers and sales colleagues.
- Pro-actively communicate product features and benefits.
- Support customer on product and technical related questions.
- Track and update design activities status.
- Timely update on market activities and participation in business review meetings.
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of business creation and project management. Good visibility of design-in and design-win pipeline process.
- Strong technical background in power component applications. Experience in the following segment/s is preferred - Whitegoods, Industrial, Renewable Energy, Automotive (EV Charger).
- Both a team player and individual contributor.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronics engineering.
- More than 3 years working experience in technical support or R&D in semiconductor industry.
- Able to travel for onsite technical support to key customers.
- Good presentation skill and proficient in English (both oral and written).
