Manager, Human Resources (Process Improvement Specialist)

Singapore Aero Engine Services Pte Ltd (SAESL) is a dynamic and fast-growing organisation committed to fostering a positive and productive workplace culture. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced human resource manager with a special focus on process improvement to join our team and lead HR initiatives that support our organisational goals.


About the Role:

Reporting to Vice President, Human Resources, you will play a pivotal role in developing and reengineering our HR processes to enhance overall efficiency, effectiveness, and employee experience. This position requires a thinker with a strong background in human resources and a passion for continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate existing HR processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement streamlined procedures
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of HR processes with other business functions
  • Keep abreast of changes, develop and update HR policies and procedures to align with industry best practices and legal requirements
  • Research and analyse information, and provide human resources advice and decisions to maintain market competitiveness and support business goals
  • Plan and manage human resources operations budget
  • Establish strong working relationships with the HR team, cross-department colleagues, management team, government agencies, union, institutes of higher learning and vendors
  • Act as a point of contact for employee relations issues, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Responsible for the physical security of the company premises

Prerequisites:

  • A degree from a recognised university
  • At least 10 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
  • Strong leader with emphasis on empowering and developing others to achieve team success
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with multiple levels in the organisation
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and exposure to HRIS systems
