About Our Client

My client is a leading player in the Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Director to join their team.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth by leading development initiatives, identifying opportunities, and managing the end-to-end sales process.

Ideal candidate should have experience developing business and maintaining relationship with China and US customers, selling Semiconductor/EMS solutions.

Job Description

  1. Business Development:
  • Cultivate novel clientele with PCBA demands.
  • Uncover and forge contacts and relationships with new customers.
  • Establish and manage the organizational structure of clients.
  • Formulate and implement effective sales strategies.
  1. Opportunities Exploration:
  • Unearth and foster sales opportunities for both new and existing customers.
  • Coordinate visits to our global production sites and headquarters.
  • Assess the revenue potential of opportunities and devise plans for managing existing ones.
  • Scrutinize existing competitors within the realm of opportunities.
  1. Quotation Management:
  • Aggregate EAU, drawings, and BOM for quotations.
  • Liaise with internal sourcing and engineering teams regarding costing.
  • Devise and execute quoting strategies, delivering quotes to clients.
  • Negotiate on costs and other business terms with clients.
  1. Sampling and Large-Scale Production Project Oversight:
  • Organize internal resources for the sampling process.
  • Monitor and address customer feedback on project progression.
  • Secure orders for large-scale production.
  1. Sales Oversight:
  • Regularly review the funnel of leads and opportunities.
  • Monitor the progress of tasks related to leads and opportunities development.
  • Evaluate changes in profit and revenue.
  • Establish and monitor sales targets.

The Successful Applicant

A bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, or any relevant field.

Over 5 years of experience in sales and marketing within the EMS or semiconductor industry.

Experience within an international setting, with the ability to navigate time and cultural disparities.

Comprehensive understanding and connections within one or more sectors, such as Industrial, Medical, Telecom, Automotive, etc.
