Responsibilities:
- Reservation Management:Handle reservations and inquire about the purpose of the visit.
- Guest Interaction:Greet guests promptly with courtesy, maintaining eye contact, a smile, and good body posture.
- Menu Presentation:Present the menu, share promotions, specials, and inform guests about unavailable items.
- Order Processing:Take food and beverage orders, repeat them to guests, and communicate the estimated time to serve.
- Mise-en-Place Supervision:Supervise the preparation and topping up of mise-en-place for the side station.
- Point-of-Sale Efficiency:Key in orders efficiently in the Point-of-Sale system.
- Inventory Management:Supervise the checking of food and beverage inventories to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Compliance:Ensure adherence to Food & Beverage Safety and Hygiene policies and procedures.
- Operational Oversight:Supervise opening, operating, and closing procedures.
- Standard Maintenance:Ensure systems are in place to maintain required standards of professionalism, cleanliness, and service delivery.
- Team Management:Delegate duties and responsibilities to servers and captains.
- Company Procedures:Ensure staff adheres to all company procedures.
- Daily Briefing and Events:Assist the manager in daily briefings, oversee the administration, and participate in planning and organizing special events.
- Operations Improvement:Supervise the implementation of plans to improve and standardize all aspects of operations.
- Team Development:Ensure thorough induction, mentoring, and training of new team members in collaboration with the Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, and Bar Manager.
- Communication Excellence:Ensure excellent communication within the restaurant.
- Positive Workplace Culture:Demonstrate a positive attitude in the workplace and understand and act on team members' motivations to help them perform at their best continually.
