Stalford Education Group is expanding its digital frontier and is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Website Designer to pioneer our web-based initiatives across our diverse portfolio of 10 brands. This role is pivotal in creating, managing, and enhancing our online identity, ensuring intuitive user experiences, and maintaining brand consistency.


Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Designing, creating, and refining user interfaces for our brands' websites ensuring optimum user experience.
  • Collaborating with brand managers to understand specific needs and tailor web designs accordingly.
  • Managing content across various content management systems such as WordPress, Strapi, and Netlify.
  • Utilising modern web builder tools such as Squarespace, Webflow and Hugo to create engaging web presences.
  • Implementing front-end interfaces using JS frameworks like Next and Svelte.
  • Ensuring responsive design for a seamless experience across various devices.
  • Keeping abreast of latest trends and tools in web design and UI/UX.
  • Collaborating closely with backend developers to ensure the effective integration of designs.
  • Maintaining and updating web properties regularly, ensuring they stay current and functional.
  • Liaising with relevant business partners, vendors, and stakeholders.


Requirements:

  • A recognised Diploma/Degree in Web Design, UI/UX, or a relevant field.
  • At least three years of relevant experience in web design and UI/UX.
  • Proficiency in web design tools like Adobe XD and/or Figma.
  • Experience with web builder tools such as Squarespace and/or Webflow.
  • Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress and/or Strapi.
  • Knowledge of frontend JS frameworks like Next and Svelte is a plus.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and adapt to changing demands and project requirements.
  • A keen eye for design aesthetics and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
