Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform research on companies, stocks, SPACs, selected topics, etc. utilizing internal and external information sources and expertise.
- Researching and preparing for new deal opportunities and pitches
- Preparing transaction documentation – business plans, term sheets, teasers, summary financials and financial forecasts.
- Process correspondence, reports, documents, schedules, etc., from transcriptions, drafts, various forms and memos sometimes containing complex financial data and assure timely distribution, as required.
- Maintaining control and stability under pressure whilst recognising the deadline or urgency to be dealt with Schedule meeting and make arrangements for meetings; prepare meeting schedules; notify attendees; prepare materials; take minutes, etc.
- Periodically prepare documents used in client presentations, coordinate printing and distribution of material.
- Accumulate financial information on various external organizations of departmental interest by utilizing internal and external sources of information and expertise as necessary.
- Establish, organize and maintain departmental files and data, both routine and confidential, and control access.
- Create and maintain databases on various topics such as client lists, project lists, etc. as appropriate to departmental functions.
- Perform miscellaneous functions such as make copies, filing, etc.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by management
Education And/Or Experience
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Financial modelling skills.
- Desire to help grow and develop the department.
- Ability to identify issues through sound analysis and application of commercial acumen in all situations.
- Strong research skills.
- Actively seeks to enhance expertise and knowledge.
