Roles & Responsibilities

· Understand customer requirements for the job

· Take site measurements independently to determine materials needed

· Process lumber and other materials according to job requirements

· Building of furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other products

· Installation of products

· Follow established safety rules and regulations

· Maintain a safe and clean environment and clean up after job is done

Requirements

· Min 3 years of experience as a furniture / renovation carpenter

· Able to understand sketches/drawings/plans

· Able to take site measurements

· Must have experience in using wood working machines such as router, planner, sanding machine, edge bender, post forming etc.

· Able to communicate in Chinese to work well with existing team of Chinese speaking carpenters

· Willing and able to work outdoors (if needed)

· Willing and able to work shifts and weekend (if needed)

Details

· Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm

· Saturday 8.30pm to 3pm

· Employer is a renovation company with in-house wood-working workshop

· Work permit positions available
