The primary responsibilities for this position will be to (but not limited to):
- Perform replacement of parts and assemblies for marine engines
- Under the guide of service engineer, works from service manuals, maintenance manuals, and facility equipment schematics
- Performs tasks with minimum supervision using experience and good judgment
- Must be able to operate all maintenance equipment and exercise all construction equipment safely for intended purpose
- Communicates verbally in an effective manner with technical staff, other employees and vendors on facility equipment problems or suggested improvements
- Use basic soldering and brazing skills as needed
- Possess a basic understanding of facility systems and construction techniques
- You will be entitled to overtime pay if overtime work is required .
- This role may be required to travel for work overseas occasionally.
Required Skill and Experience:
- Must have marine repair experience
- Should demonstrate good mechanical comprehension and strong communication skills with technical staff and fellow employees
