The Role
This position will provide network support for Mapletree Group, which include being the point of contact for all requests, issue resolutions and support change requests after office hours, local and overseas.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide first, second level Network support
- Hands on experience in configuring, troubleshooting routing and switching protocol - BGP, OSPF, HSRP, layer 2 switch eg VLAN, STP
- Working knowledge of OSI layer 7 protocols including TCP/UDP, DNS, DHCP, http/https
- Experience in network segmentation through routing, VPN, SD-WAN
- Experience in Solarwinds, familiar with SIEM, syslog.
- Experience in managing Cisco call manager, teams voice.
- Primary responsibility for voice System, Cisco Enterprise Voice and Microsoft Team.
- Responsible for support of projects, change requests where needed and accommodate project/change timelines and work schedules. Comfortable to travel where needed.
- Able to manage, plan and resource projects effectively in a complex organisation
- Understanding of incident, problem, change management processes
- Ensuring network systems are compliance to security policies, follow the standard operating process (SOP).
- Good team player and able to work at all levels, confident, self-driven.
- Manage Operational admin activities like:
- Supervising vendors and ensuring works are carried out appropriately, ensuring SLA are met, monthly reporting.
- Procuring equipment and services
- Maintaining billing records, contract expiry and coordinating payments
- Updating documentation for system, equipment inventory, SOPs etc.
- Monitoring systems
- Preparing status reports for management
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Information Technology, and a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or related disciplines.
- At least 5 years of relevant hands-on experiences.
- Familiarity in Cisco Switching and Router, Juniper and Palo Alto Firewall are essential.
- Responsible individual who are self-motivated, independent and good team player preferred.
