Job Description
1.As a person in charge of Public Relations, with sufficient knowledge of the Japanese economy, politics, and a wide range of topics related to Japan, maintain and improve the relationships and mutual trust with the Japanese media by maintaining close communication, forming the basis for effective corporate communication with external Japanese stakeholders.
2.As a person in charge of Public Relations in the trading company, proactively explain and release the information of our trading activity to each media to obtain a better understanding and familiarity of our core business, which enables us to enhance our presence in each domain and industry.
3.Not only addressing corporate communication with external stakeholders but also proactively promoting publishing activities of our company by planning the most effective design, methods, timing, etc., in a stiff alignment with the Tokyo Head Office and local branches in the APAC region.
4.With the knowledge of the worldwide economy and politics, establish relationships with the media overseas besides Japanese media, forming the basis for effective corporate communication with external stakeholders.
5.Address the tasks assigned by the General Manager of the planning division and complete them at a high level, even if they are not directly related to corporate communication, PR activities, and publishing activities.
Job Requirements
1.Over 5 years working experience in the Public Relations department and have the knowledge and skills to communicate smoothly with Japanese Media based on a deep understanding of Japanese culture, economy, politics, etc., including fluent Japanese.
2.Over 3 years of experience in engaging in the trading business which enables us to introduce and explain our trading activities to stakeholders in a more efficient and targeted manner.
3.At least 1 year experience in engaging corporate publishing activity to Media which requires very sensitive attention to how, when, and where we should publish or make advertisements.
4.Ambition and proactive attitude of leading and managing the team you belong to and the above tasks, as well as supporting General Manager even in areas that are not related to public relation activities, publishing activities, and corporate communication. (tasks besides PR, publishing, corporate communication are expected to be around 40% of whole tasks)
5.Able to speak and write English as well as fluent Japanese.
6.PR Planner or equivalent certification is required.
