We are looking for a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing cash flow, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and overseeing the accounting operations of our company.
As an Accountant, you will work closely with the Finance Manager and other senior staff to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. You will also provide advice and guidance on financial matters to the management and stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and a professional certification such as CPA or ACCA. You should also have at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a SME environment. You should have strong knowledge of accounting standards and principles, as well as proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. You should also have excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Reconcile bank accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Manage cash flow and budget forecasts
- Compute and file tax returns and other statutory filings
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities
- Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies and procedures
- Monitor and evaluate the financial performance and profitability of the company
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions
- Assist in the development and improvement of accounting systems and processes
Requirements:
