The Role
The candidate will coordinate project elements, oversee Project Team, and contractors to ensure that engineering projects are completed according to project plans and schedules, meets quality objectives and complies with safety standards. The responsibilities of the candidate will include:
Job Description
- Day to day supervision of field works to ensure safety compliance by all parties, both Meiden staff and all subcontractors.
- Liaise closely with site operations staff on all safety and health issues on the construction site.
- Coordinate and maintain records of site safety orientation and daily tools box meetings.
- Assisting at the implementation of company's safety management system at the site.
- Responds and assist in investigation, complaints and recommend appropriate action.
- Detect safety violation and report to management.
- Perform daily site work inspection to ensure safety compliance.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections.
- Carries out site safety inspections of workplace and takes appropriate action to ensure compliance.
- Conduct, review and endorse Risk Assessments.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Investigates accidents and injuries that occur in the workplace.
- Assist in the preparation of various reports, documents and forms.
- Assist in in-house safety training programs.
- Recommend and implement (improvement / corrective) actions to enhance safety and efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess valid WSHO certificate.
- At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in Engineering & Construction industry
- Candidates with relevant supervisory course (WAH, Confine Space and etc.) certifications will be added advantageous
- Candidates should be dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Able to work beyond normal office hours or irregular hours.
- Able to work independently and at the same time be a team player
- Able to response to emergency call, if happens.
- Preferably have a valid driving license and with own transport.
