We're seeking a proactive Junior QA Analyst to enhance our tech-ops division. This role will not only involve a balance of manual and automated testing, with a focus on rigorously assessing trade booking features and our advanced client onboarding system, but will also encompass key DevOps responsibilities. The candidate will contribute to establishing and verifying performance metrics to ensure our platforms maintain the highest level of efficiency and reliability.
Role
- Conduct manual and automated tests on our trading platform features and client onboarding processes.
- Ensure the precise booking, settlement, and delivery of spot, futures, and options trades and transfers.
- Collaborate effectively with the tech-ops team to pinpoint and rectify defects.
- Develop, maintain, and verify performance metrics to monitor and improve system efficiency and reliability.
- Craft and maintain test cases, detailed specifications, and thorough plans.
- Deliver comprehensive reports on test coverage, optimization strategies, and actionable insights for system enhancements.
- As part of the wider tech-ops team, the role will also involve DevOps tasks, including system integration, configuration management, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
Our Ideal Candidate will possess the following skillsets:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Understanding of trading platform nuances, particularly related to trade booking.
- Strong analytical skills to develop, assess, and refine performance metrics.
- Ability to work seamlessly within a team and communicate effectively with various departments.
- Availability to work on-call during designated hours as part of a rotation.
- Some familiarity with automated testing tools like Playwright would be a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a related role.
