Job Description
- Assist Team Head to grow APAC Institutional and Intermediary business
- Pro-active engagement and build good rapport with key institutional clients
- Provide all round trade execution services on global equity markets through Bloomberg EMSX, GL and various proprietary trading systems.
- Work closely with counterparties and back office on account related, post trade settlement and corporate action matters
- Provide equity trading ideas and market colours
- Actively implementing ideas and process changes to improve the whole trade life cycle
Requirements
- Degree in any relevant discipline
- Certifications in CMFAS 1A, 5, 6, 6A will be advantageous
- Prior background in serving buy-side and/or sell-side clients preferred
- Good knowledge in equity markets and various trading systems
- Strong interpersonal skills, articulate, meticulous, team player, able to work under pressure
- Proficiency in Excel preferred
- Proficiency in English and Chinese, both written and spoken (in order to liaise with Chinese clients)
- Required to work on selected public holidays
- Able and willing to travel on short overseas trips when required
