We are looking for a highly motivated & experienced individual for the role of the ASEAN market CFO for Consulting. In this role, you will work very closely with the ASEAN leadership team as a trusted business advisor and actively participate in driving the day-to-day operations as well as setting the strategy for future growth and investments. You will have the opportunity to learn & add value, influence the leadership team and drive business outcomes.
Below are the key responsibilities:
- P&L Ownership and driving the business to meet the signings, revenue, profit and cash objectives
- Active participation with Market Managing Partner and COO in the business cadences and management reviews – both downstream and upline
- Maintain a strong controls posture and lead activities like Management Self Assessment of Controls (MSAC), Quarterly Certification by Management (QCM) and Audit as required
- Strategic Planning and Forecasting across the 6 ASE countries on the basis of signings waterfall, resource optimization, utilization, pricing profile, investments, etc
- Work closely with the business teams to set the fall plan growth strategy and prioritize investments. Requires close collaboration across F&O and the business teams
- Financial management and oversight of recently announced acquisition in Indonesia (Equine Global) and a Joint Venture with one of the leading banking clients in Thailand (KTB)
- Drive collection actions with the business team with support from Q2C/AR teams
- Cost rate management to ensure proper recovery position
- Assist the Delivery team in driving the right actions through financial modelling, particularly in challenged/troubled projects
- Drive Monthly/Quarterly closing activities to ensure proper accounting practices/guidelines are followed
- Direct management of the ASE Consulting Finance team ensuring workload optimization, career progression/planning and employee engagement
- Be part of the Consulting transformation agenda through alignment of financial parameters in line with business model
- Drive adoption of cognitive tools and workflow improvement to ensure smooth financial operations and higher value add activities
Required Professional and Technical Expertise :
- Educational qualification in Chartered Accountancy or MBA with finance specialization
- At least 12 years of experience in the field of financial planning, management, pricing, risk management, compliance and controls
- Strong background in finance and planning function with P&L ownership
- Understanding and knowledge of US GAAP is required. Knowledge of IBM systems and processes is a strong plus
- Experience in commercial construct of deals working with the business teams
