The role
To assist therapist in the preparation of patients for treatment and implementation of selected aspects of treatment under the supervision of therapist.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for therapy, and assist therapists in various activities, e.g. walking of patient machines setup, etc
- Monitor and maintain equipment / supplies on loan or for sale and keep treatment area tidy
- Assist in transfers and activities of daily living of patients
- Provide coverage for administrative assistant / attendant
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the respective supervisor
Qualifications & Experience
- Preferably with prior experience as Therapy Assistant
- Certificate in Healthcare Support/ Therapy Support
