KEY ACTIVITIES
The Infrastructure Change Manager will help oversee it’s internal and external IT and tech needs.
· Manage infrastructure needs in relation to client’s need to implement new and manage existing ICT systems;
· Facilitate project activities for a smooth rollout and operations of the systems;
· Oversee the change process for system deployment, operations and managing client’s other supplier (including checking that they deliver their deliverables on schedule and informing client of any delays); and
· Manage infrastructure development and maintenance issues with client users and
client’s other suppliers;
· Manage client user expectations, maintain good rapport with client users and understand client users’ requirements;
· Adhere to quality management system (“QMS”) and other audit requirements;
· Any task that may be required by the authority from time to time, and deemed reasonable and relevant to the job scope/nature and capabilities of the CMS personnel; and
· Provide client with status updates of infrastructure development or maintenance.
PROFILE
· Degree in computer science/computer engineering or other relevant ICT disciplines;
· Minimum of 5 years working experience in ICT infrastructure services, such as datacentre, disaster recovery, server, storage, network and desktop infrastructure;
· Project management experience in multi-vendor environment;
· Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem solving skills;
· Results-oriented and customer-oriented;
· Good team player with strong organisation and people management skills;
· Good competency in spoken and written English
Requirements
· Technical services delivery and management related certification, such as Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and/or Certification in Outsourcing Management for IT (COMIT), or equivalent;
· Knowledge and relevant experience in implementing and leading small to medium scale ICT infrastructure projects;
Experience with:
· Working in the public sector/Government agencies;
· Implementing and managing system infrastructure in cloud environment (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
