Job Summary:
Salary: Basic up to $3500 + VB (twice a year) + AL 16days; next year 21 days
Working Time: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
Location: Loyang Lane
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations in accounts payable, handling payments and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Verify and process staff expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Process, verify, and pay invoices, coding them to appropriate accounts.
- Prepare cheques, GIRO, and TT payments.
- Reconcile accounts payable and inter-company transactions.
- Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
- Maintain vendor files and address vendor inquiries.
- Assist in month-end closing processes.
- Provide documentation for audits and maintain confidential financial records.
- Support team in responding to auditor queries on AP matters.
- Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor and management.
- Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance AP efficiency.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Accounting with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven track record as an Accounts Payable Account Executive or in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail, maintaining accuracy in high-volume settings.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
- Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Netsuite, is preferred.
- Knowledge of Singapore GST is essential.
- Capable of handling high-volume work efficiently.
