Trade Merchandising Designer

About the Role:
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Trade Merchandising Designer to join our dynamic trade marketing team. In this role, you will play a key part in crafting compelling visual stories that enhance brand presence, drive sales, and connect with customers at the point of purchase.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Channel Development Manager to conceptualize and design effective in-store communication materials:
- Develop creative concepts for point-of-purchase displays, promotional signage, and other visual elements.
- Translate brand guidelines and marketing messages into engaging visual designs.
- Collaborate with external vendors to ensure high-quality production and execution.
- Propose and implement strategic store displays:
- Analyse customer flow and shopping behaviours to create impactful displays that resonate with target audiences.
- Design displays that highlight product features, benefits, and promotions.
- Ensure brand consistency and alignment with overall campaign objectives.
Support trade marketing in channel activation for promotions and sampling:
- Develop engaging visual assets for sampling stations and promotional events.
- Design interactive elements to encourage customer engagement and product trial.
- Assist with the logistical planning and execution of in-store activations
Propose ideas and develop effective below-the-line collaterals for festive promotions and store events:
- Design seasonal window displays, gift wrapping solutions, and other festive materials.
- Create impactful promotional flyers, brochures, and other printed materials.
- Innovate with unique and engaging merchandising concepts for special occasions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a graphic designer or merchandiser, with a focus on retail environments.
- Proven track record of developing successful in-store communication materials.
- Strong understanding of brand storytelling and visual communication principles.
- Excellent creative and design skills, with proficiency in industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite preferred).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a strong work ethic.
