Responsibilities:
1. Lead a team of plumbing technicians and installers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
2. Oversee plumbing installation and repair projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines are met, and work is executed to the satisfaction of clients.
3. Possess a deep understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations. Provide technical assistance to the team and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
4. Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure all plumbing installations and repairs meet industry standards and comply with relevant codes.
5. Manage inventory levels of plumbing materials and tools. Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of required items for ongoing projects.
6. Interface with clients to understand project requirements, provide updates on project progress, and address any concerns or issues promptly.
7. Enforce safety protocols and guidelines, conducting regular safety meetings, and ensuring all team members adhere to safety standards.
8. Identify training needs for team members, conduct training sessions, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Experience: Preferrable 2 years of proven experience in plumbing, with at least 1 in a supervisory or leadership role. Fresh grads are welcome to apply.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and installation/repair techniques. Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management abilities with a focus on team development, performance management, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify and resolve plumbing-related issues efficiently.
- Education: A relevant technical diploma or certification in plumbing or related engineering is required.
