The Office of Academic Services (OAS) plays a key role in advancing the University’s educational goals through implementing and administering the academic policies established by the University’s academic body. OAS provides academic services for students from the time of their matriculation to their graduation and are committed to integrity, strong governance, and high standards of professionalism in our work to establish success for all NTU students.

Responsibilities

The position requires the candidate to:

  • work independently and collaboratively with Schools to administer the examinations including setting up venues as well as ensuring all resources and logistics are in place for the smooth conduct of examinations.
  • support the examination arrangement for students with Special Education Needs.
  • assist in the conduct of Qualifying English Test (QET).
  • process the medical certificates submitted by students who have missed the examinations and promptly follow up on any queries from Schools and students and other related administrative work.
  • support the digital transformation of examination at University level by reviewing and enhancing the existing examination processes.
  • participate in cross-team projects.

Requirements

  • Polytechnic Diploma Holders with at least 2 years of working experience, preferably in academic services in the tertiary education sector.
  • Experience in examination planning and events management will be an added advantage.
  • Working knowledge of SQL will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), PDF, and the use of IT towards operational productivity.
  • Analytical experience with data and information.
  • Experience in database and process management.
  • Meticulous with high attention to details.
  • Strong communication, good interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Pleasant personality with high integrity and good working attitude.
