The role:

The role of Associate Director is a seasoned individual contributor position, responsible for overseeing the complete 360-degree recruitment process, with a focus on mid to senior-level candidates and roles. Your responsibilities will include playing a crucial role in identifying and attracting top-tier talent for our clients within diverse industries covering HR leadership positions. This role demands a strategic mindset, outstanding interpersonal skills, and a natural aptitude for cultivating and nurturing relationships.

Core Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate confident and adept leadership in overseeing 360-degree recruitment processes within your designated area.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to execute both contingent and retained searches, actively seeking opportunities to propose exclusive and retained engagements.
  • Showcase a proven ability to problem-solve and adeptly manage candidate/client situations.
  • Employ a consultative approach during client meetings, emphasizing the cultivation of enduring relationships.
  • Engage in proactive business development to foster your own client relationships and ensure a robust pipeline.
  • Offer career coaching to candidates while maintaining a consistently high level of service.
  • Enhance your personal brand as a trusted and respected recruiter in the local market through effective delivery, regular social media posts, and other marketing strategies.
  • Take charge of organizing local events, such as webinars or breakfast roundtables, injecting creativity and enthusiasm into their design and execution.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Highly desirable to possess 5+ years of 360-degree agency recruitment experience, demonstrating a track record of successfully closing roles.
  • Alternatively, experience in an in-house HR or Talent Acquisition role with responsibility for recruitment and HR practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients, candidates, and internal teams.
  • Proven commercial approach to developing and sustaining client relationships, preferably within the specific area the role is recruiting for.
  • Motivated to deliver exceptional service to both candidates and clients.
  • Proficient in networking and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, both in-person and remotely.
  • Possess a strong personal brand within your current market that can be further cultivated and leveraged to advance your career at Elliott Scott Group.
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on industry trends and recruitment best practices.
