A. Design Review
Cloudera will work with the customer to understand deployment requirements for CDP & CDS.
Tasks include gathering functional and non-functional requirements, reviewing default software configurations, and preparing installation and configuration requirements.
Cloudera will validate requirements against existing designs, provide optimal performance parameters, and prepare a Design Review Report.
Exclusions: Disaster recovery beyond clusters, application migration.
B. Deploy and Secure Cloudera Cluster (Cloudera's Responsibilities)
Cloudera will review prerequisites, install software, and configure security using Kerberos and LDAP.
Tasks include configuring authentication, authorization, data protection, deploying Cloudera Data Services, and providing documentation.
Exclusions: Customization of non-Cloudera systems, 3rd party integrations, and database management system configuration.
C. Configure Data Replication Between Teradata and CDP (Cloudera's Responsibilities)
Cloudera will create replication policies for data migration between Teradata and CDP clusters.
Exclusions: Work related to specific components, licenses for additional products.
D. Configure Data Replication Between CDP Production & DR Clusters (Cloudera's Responsibilities)
Cloudera will create replication policies for data migration between CDP Production and DR clusters.
Exclusions: Configuring jobs for fail-over, end-to-end disaster recovery.
E. Design & Prepare Data Validation (Cloudera's Responsibilities)
Cloudera will study end-user requirements, design data validation best practices, and participate in data migration workshops.
Exclusions: Services performed only on Cloudera licensed Software.
