Job Objectives
l Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) is responsible for Technical delivery of projects spanning multiple upstream and downstream applications. Delivering projects with Banking clients project SDLC guidelines while managing issues, risks, dependencies and project change will be core competencies to the role.
l TDM is responsible to ensure that project produces the required deliverables with quality as per the defined functional and non-functional requirements, within the specified boundaries of time and cost
Key Responsibilities
l Coordinate preparation of technical project plan for ITC, reporting to Lead TDM
l Manage Pre ITC activities for existing enhancement and new system implementation
l Manage project Business and Technology stakeholders, e.g., escalation, expectation, conflict, scope changes, etc.
l Anticipate, capture and manage overall implementation level risks and issues, track risk aging
l Own and drive resolution and escalate risks and issues in a timely manner
l Prepare overall implementation plan taking inputs from all stakeholders including technology. business, operations and co-ordinate execution by respective application teams
l Partner with stakeholders in ensuring System Development Methodology is followed
l Measure, monitor and report implementation progress to stakeholders
l Review and assess changes and impact to timeline & cost
l Key point of contact for all RFP related tasks and requirements
l Secretary for PWC meetings and PW workshops for their module/project
l Ensure teams work in a collaborative environment
l Manage all changes to the agreed scope of work
Key Requirements
l At least 5 years’ Experience of multi-country Private Banking system implementation/projects
l Private bank functional and technical understanding is must
l At least 10 years of experience in every stage of software development life-cycle. Relevant Technical & PM certification will be plus including knowledge of technologies like J2EE, Oracle, Unix, MQ etc
l Experience in effective planning, execution, monitoring End-to-end technical activities and reporting to senior management
l Experience in managing Technology vendor and Business stakeholders from various ASEAN countries and have appreciation of local IT regulations
l Highly effective communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
l Good problem solving and analytical skills
l Degree in computer science or related professional/technical qualification will be advantageous although not mandatory
